Suggestion for measuring powders.
Use a small plastic scoop or 1/4 cup measure on the tray, and use 'tare' to zero before measuring the powder - as seen in photo.


Calibration process.
  1. Turn on the scales and when it says 0.000, press and hold CAL for a couple of seconds until ZErO is displayed.
  2. Take your finger off & then press & release CAL again once. When it starts flashing 20.000, put the weight on the scales.
  3. When it stops flashing after a couple of seconds it should show PASS, and you can take the weight off .
You need to wait just long enough between the steps for it to change (stop flashing, show a different word) but not too long between the steps, or it turns off.
